9. Is the information SGJ has about me secure?
9.1. SGJ holds personal information in hardcopy files and in electronic form, and takes reasonable steps to protect personal information from any misuse, interference, loss, and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure.
9.2. SGJ stores hardcopy files in offices, cupboards and compactuses within an access controlled premises. Under its records managements system, access to files is appropriately limited. Additional security measures may be applied such as limiting access to files, or storing files in locked cupboards as necessary or desirable based on our clients’ needs. SGJ also stores archived hardcopy files with an offsite storage provider whose premises is monitored by CCTV and access is strictly controlled.
9.3. SGJ stores electronic form records within our own secure network. Personal information within our network is password protected and access is appropriately limited.
